Jessica and Andrew’s Country Love Story Wedding at Country Coach House in Burlington, Illinois
Some love stories feel like they’re written in lyrics. Jessica and Andrew’s is absolutely..
From belting out country songs in the truck to concerts, and a shared 49ers loyalty, their relationship has always been rooted in music, joy, and family.
And their wedding day at Country Coach House reflected exactly that:
The Proposal: A First Date, Rewritten
Andrew planned the kind of proposal most girls only dream about.
He recreated their very first date.
All week, he casually mentioned how much he’d been craving ice cream from Daisy’s — the very place they went that night they first fell in love. Jessica’s parents even helped make sure she was dressed up that day, taking her into the city before Andrew picked her up and headed back to the ice cream shop.
Inside, Andrew started taking pictures of her — completely throwing her off. She kept looking for a ring in his pocket but never saw it.
After ice cream, they drove down memory lane—the same road where they had sung together on their first date—and relived it all, with Andrew playing every song from that night as Jessica leaned into his chest, singing along.
Then George Strait’s “Check Yes or No” came on.
Andrew took a deep breath, pulled out the ring, and asked her to marry him.
Jessica didn’t even answer at first — she launched toward him with happy tears in her eyes. Finally, she said yes. They sat there in disbelief and shock, soaking in the moment.
But Andrew wasn’t done.
He had both families waiting at one of their favorite Italian restaurants in Cary. When they arrived, they were greeted with balloons, cookies, speeches, prayer, and even Jessica’s new “wedding” jean jacket.
It was the perfect beginning to their next season.
Why They Chose Country Coach House
“We knew we wanted a country-themed wedding. We knew we wanted a party and a family feel.”
They fell in love with the beautiful scenery — but more than that, they loved the welcoming and intentional atmosphere.
And that’s exactly what their day became.
Wedding Style & Details
Jessica and Andrew described their theme in four words:
Country. Party. Classy. Fun.
A soft, earthy palette set the tone for this August reception, with a burnt orange runner grounding the tables and terracotta napkins adding just the right pop of color. Amber goblets, warm tea lights, touches of eucalyptus, and simple bud vases were layered to feel effortless, inviting, and beautifully cohesive.
At the ceremony:
Barrels with large floral displays marked the entrance
Shepherd hooks lined the aisle with mason jars filled with baby’s breath
An arbor draped in fabric and flowers framed their vows
The florals were especially meaningful — lovingly created by Andrew’s mom, Donna, while Jessica’s mom poured her heart into countless thoughtful details behind the scenes. It was truly a family effort.
Music, Ice Cream & Personal Touches
Music has always been central to their relationship, especially live concerts together. They incorporated favorite artists throughout the day — little nods to the soundtrack of their love story.
And in a full-circle moment, they even brought in Cook’s Ice Cream Cart for guests, complete with an attendant scooping for two hours while everyone added their own toppings, a sweet tribute to when it all began.
Their signature drinks?
Jack & Coke (his)
Tito’s Lemonade (hers)
Because the best weddings feel personal — not just Pinterest-perfect. Though we think this one might have been both.
The Heart of the Day
More than the decor.
More than the party.
More than the details.
Jessica was most excited about marrying her best friend.
And when you saw them together — laughing, dancing, soaking in every moment — you knew that’s exactly what this day was about.
